A legend in energy sector Mr. Eckermann spent nearly entire career working in energy and mining related manufacturing;Mr. Eckermann has a BSME degree with distinction from Texas A&M University; Completed numerous and various management courses; Worked for LeTourneau Technologies, Inc. (LTI) for a quarter century, (first) as head of a business unit, (then) as head of business unit and company operations; and finally, for 13 years as company head (President & CEO) until retirement; During his tenure Mr. Eckermann managed company growth of ~ten-fold during tenure as company head; Worked (previously) for Union Carbide (now Dow) at three locations in ~ten years and Pennzoil (now Shell) at two locations in ~five years.

“MAKE HAPPEN ACHIEVEMENTS” at LTI For the business unit of LTI Offshore Products, facilitated the development of four jack-up drilling rig designs and the supply of 29 jack-up drilling rigs during a 15 year period, via either turnkey or licensed kit supply. For the business unit of LTI Mining Products, facilitated a transformation of this product family to provide the most fuel-efficient loader in the market, including unique hybrid models using innovative switched reluctance technology; And, toward the end of company head tenure, became involved with development of several new drilling systems products through LTI Drilling Systems.

Kamran Haq (President)

Throughout his progressive, international career, Kamran Haque has contributed invaluably to operations management, financial administration, technical problem solving and positive organizational change within numerous multinational leaders in the upstream oilfield services sector. Professionally a Mechanical Engineer Mr. Kamran embarking on his career in 1985 with Schlumberger Limited in an operational/technical role, Kamran launched a progressive managerial career culminating in country operations manager roles with oversight of oil and gas drilling and upstream services in Oman and Pakistan. He played a pivotal role in consolidating security, improving client relations, developing quality health safety environment and administering P/L and negotiating contracts.

In 2006, Kamran harnessed international experience (spanning 10+ countries globally) with Schlumberger to assume a managerial directorship with Schlumberger joint venture Arabian Drilling Company. Here, he developed key quality and H&S programs while pioneering a culture change to promote enhanced service quality and managerial accountability yielding entry into the top performance quartile on external service quality appraisals within 2 years. Also, he led the promotion of capacity-building and development of localized workforces in technical and managerial grades.

Next, Kamran joined the privately-held MB Petroleum Services in Muscat, Oman, to assume a CEO position for the Middle East and North African regions with a mandate to prepare the organization for an IPO by strengthening financial positioning, and attracting & retaining top-tier talent. As a Senior Management Professional with Canadian Permanent Resident status, Kamran leverages an advanced mechanical engineering background, superior cutting-edge technology abilities and superb financial acuity, combined with business process improvement and change management skills to deliver major projects & contracts and drive improvements in profitability, service quality and operational efficiency.

Zaheer A. Awan (Founder & Managing Director)

Mr. Zaheer A. Awan is the founder of Drilltekh International FZE. Professionally a Mechanical Engineer, Mr. Awan started his carrier with Schlumberger in the Oilwell Drilling segment. Mr. Awan is an entrepreneurial executive with over 20 years of successful strategic business planning, financial and corporate leadership experience including complete P & L responsibility, leading highly successful new business development initiatives with emphasis in managing sales & marketing including substantial monetary transactions. He was actively involved in offshore jack up and land rig construction business while working with LeTourneau as Regional Managing Director for the MENA region. Mr. Awan has a recognized talent for developing and implementing strategies to propel an organization to a position of leadership within its respective market and simultaneously achieve corporate goals. As a qualified Drilling Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry he possesses excellent technical skills & expertise related tothe Oilfield & Drilling Industry along with strategic and creative thinking with effective communication, writing and presentation skills. Zaheer Awan is well connected with the captains and top officials in the multinational Oil & Gas Industry of the Middle East and suppliers from around the world.
